Twilight Photo Cake
If you have a photo printer (purchase from the left sidebar) you can print the image you want on your cake, then just lay it on the frosting. use a frosting bag to make a nice frame around it, like this Twilight photo cake, it has a picture of Bella and Edward on the left side and Happy Birthday Alyssa on the right.

It’s a baking tray that’s made of that plastic stuff, then apparently they can cool in the pan (they don’t need a wire rack) and then you can frost them and then put a lid on it, it even has a handle. If you’re a bit freaked out by the plastic bakeware (some people are) then the 
might be a better idea for you. I’m not currently in the market for bakeware, but if I was I think I’d at least want to try that plastic, it seems like a fun novelty. I’m sure it won’t melt, but the thought alone seems exciting.
